If you want a rustic, stylish and authentic Greek holiday this house
is for you. You can walk straight from the house into the mountains
or enjoy the local taverna in the village while watching the sun
set.
This is a simple
but beautiful house. A traditional style kitchen is complemented
by antique furniture in the living room and a wonderful subterranean
style bathroom. The double bedroom is reached by descending down
the iron staircase to what would have traditionally been the animals'
quarters. The bathroom and extra bedroom are both reached from this
main bedroom which also has a doorway into the garden.
         
The sea is 10
minutes down the hill by car and you can see two islands from the
house most of the year.
The nearest
market town is 15 minutes away and is the city of Kyiparissia. Kyparissia
is a historical city with ancient walls and a castle. From here
the first ship was sent to the Trojan War. It has a very beautiful
historical old part of town around the castle. The area has a multitude
of archaeological sites including Olympia,
Nestor's Palace, Temple of Vasses, Ancient Messinia, Nafplio and
many many more.
